   Start writing by introducing that soccer is the most famous sport in the world. Then write about how the World Cup is played every four years and talk about all the different leagues in the world. Talk about some of the famous old players like Pele and some of the rising stars, such as Christiano Ronaldo. Talk about how soccer is starting to develop in the United States. End your essay saying that soccer is the sport that the whole world sits down to watch.

   youre being pretty general.
   But you could start out in the introduction by mapping the development of a sport played exclusively in England to a sport that has expanded to every single country where human life exists.
   World Cup started in 1930 and the the most recent edition was in 2006. They like, the Olympics are held every 4 years and were suspended in1942 and 1946 due to WW II.
   Famous soccer players in the past- Pele, Maradonna, Beckenbauer, Cruyff, Bobby Charlton, Zidane
   You could expand on Pele by mentioning his inclusion as the athlete of the century by the International Olympic Committee and the Footballer of the Century by FIFA, the governing body of the World Cup and other international events for soccer
   How his No 10 shirt has become the same as today’s creative playmakers
   Current famous players: Ronaldinho, David Beckham(note you said famous not high quaity hahah), Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney, Cannavoro, Henry
   Rules: only the goalkeeper can use their hands at all and only within the confines of the box
   a foul anywhere outside the box xis a free kick while inside the box is a penalty kick
   yellow cards are given to vicious fouls(intentional hand balls, delay of game) kinda like a technical or flagrant foul in nbasketball
   red card is 2 yellow cards in the same game or to reckless challegnes(tackles from behind)
   If the ball crosses the goal line it is a goal, and the team with the most goals wins and if equal after 90 minutes it is a draw unless the match is a knockout match or overtime is specified
